Denver, Morrison, & Estes Park

I was fortunate to live in Denver and Boulder area on and off during my twenties into my early 30s. It was wonderful to share the dear people and fun places in Colorado with David and Liam this Fall.

We stopped over in Salt Lake City to pick up to Liam (Isaac wasn't feeling well and didn't make it) and then took a short flight over to the Mile High City. Our first family flight! And yes, David and I totally (unintentionally) couple dressed.

We enjoyed nummy Mexican at Tamayo in Larimer Square outside in the warm night air (unseasonably warm for November) under those famous, lovely Italian wedding lights that drape over the square.

Liam enjoyed a birthday dessert courtesy of me, and afterwards we toured around downtown to the Denver Center, where I frequented/my work as a photographer was showcased, before crashing for the night.

David's high school friends Yale and Jill now live in Colorado and made it out to be by us. It is so lovely how our friends and family really mesh so well together! Jill and David were high school and college sweethearts, David connected us over a year ago regarding career stuff, and we have since forged a dear friendship having a weekly call to talk about life and whatever we fancy! Jill even hand knitted me a stunning shirt for my birthday.

Life is incredibly good.

For the grand finale, Rocky Mountain National Park! Our last day was cut short due to airline changes so we weren't able to hike around and have proper snowball fights like we wanted, but even a little drive was enough to fill us. Liam has been trying to see all the National parks and he's now added another to his belt!

It was this time last year that we hit the first snow in Tahoe. Liam did a sneak attack on my face with a snowball as I was minding my own business doing a snow angel. Though I still owe him one, I think Dada defended my honor. ;)

Swoosh! A well paced yet packed trip, we had a wonderFULL time being together with dear friends in stunning Colorado. Until next time!
